At Heritage Lincolnshire we love December, as it’s filled with twinkling lights, warm drinks and tasty treats. However our work promoting heritage is never done! The increased regularity of Wham’s ‘Last Christmas’ on the radio marks the start of the cycle for next year’s Heritage Open Days.
Yes we know that the festival isn’t until September 2019, but there is an awful lot of organisation to do. We need to be ready for the 2019 brochure to launch in June at the Lincolnshire Show.
We’ve already begun sending out invitations to organisers, so if you're interested in hosting an event, do get in touch. We are aiming to make the 2019 Lincolnshire Heritage Open Days Festival the biggest and best ever!
The festival will run over ten straight days from Friday 13th – Sunday 22nd September 2019. If you want to host something on one or more of these, now is the time to let us know!
We’ve tried to make it easier this year by writing an FAQ about organising an event. So, whether you're completely new to the festival, or a veteran organiser, then we hope you'll find it helpful!
So spare a thought for your friendly neighbourhood Heritage Open Days team this December. If you're considering a New Year’s Resolution for 2019, then make it a good one! Organise an event for your local community and the wider county for Heritage Open Days.
For more information or just a quick chat about the festival, get in touch with either Ray or Charlotte.
