Archaeology of the Lincolnshire Wolds

Join local archaeologist Dave Start to discover the archaeology of the Lincolnshire Wolds. From the earliest occupation in prehistory, through Roman roads and medieval abbeys and deserted medieval villages. On this course you will find out about historic sites on your doorstep and important archaeological discoveries that have shaped our understanding of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This 4 session course, starting on 7th November and finishing 28th November (4 consecutive Tuesday mornings), is free to new learners or costs £30, concessions available.

This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service. We aim to attract new learners and courses are open to all aged 19 and over on 31 August 2017.
