From Auto to Awesome: Photographing Historic Buildings

A FREE one session course from 10:00 am- 3:00pm on Tuesday 23rd March at the Fydell House, South Street, Boston, PE21 6HU.
Join Heritage Lincolnshire’s Beverley Gormley in the superb historic setting of the Georgian Fydell House. With 1:1 assistant beginners will learn to compose, shoot and edit great photos, and get to know their F-stop from their aperture! Are you baffled by your camera’s settings? Do you want to stop using ‘auto’? Then this is the course for you.
This workshop is for beginners who want to get more from their camera when photographing historic buildings, landscapes and monuments.
You’ll need to bring along your digital camera (point-and-shoot or DSLR, no camera phones or tablets please) outdoor clothing and sensible footwear as we’ll be venturing out into the historic streets, squares and quays of Boston in the afternoon.

This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service. We aim to attract new learners and courses are open to all aged 19 and over on 31 August 2016.
