A County Divided: the English Civil war in Lincolnshire

Trapped between the Parliamentarian stronghold of the eastern counties and the Royalist armies of the north and west, Lincolnshire spent the years of 1642 to 1646 as a military frontier with conflict raging across the county on numerous occasions. This one day course will examine the progress of the war, and look at its impact on the people and landscape of the county. Join Jim Snee, project officer with the Layers of History Project, on this 2 session course which finishes on Saturday 14th July 2018.
This course is free to new learners or £18, concessions available.
