How to Find the History on Your Doorstep

A FREE one session course from 10:00am-2:00pm on Wednesday 17th May at the Stamford Arts Centre, 27 St Mary's Street, Stamford, PE9 2DL.
This short course is designed for anyone with an interest in history, archaeology or the towns and villages of Lincolnshire. We'll be exploring lots of easy to use digital resources that can help you track down local archaeological sites, find out what historic buildings are listed in your area, and what it is that makes them so special.
This will be an interactive course and there will be time and support available to try out all of the resources we discuss. If you have a laptop or tablet computer then please bring this along as wi-fi will be provided for the benefit of learners during the course.
Don't worry if your less confident with technology as help will be on hand throughout and there will be spare computers available for those who don't have access to one.

This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service. We aim to attract new learners and courses are open to all aged 19 and over on 31 August 2016.
