9 September 2022 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until 11 September 2022

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2022

Explore the fascinating history of this Grade I Listed Queen Anne house. Learn about its owners, tenants and visitors and their place in local society. During this weekend you will have the chance to discover areas of Fydell House that visitors don’t usually get to see.

Visitors can join our special rooftop tour, where you will be able to see Boston from above. Or if heights aren’t your style, join the cellar tour beneath Fydell House.

There will also be an exhibition on naturalist Joseph Banks, close friend of the Fydell family, and his fen drainage work as well as a new display of unseen paintings of the Fydell House garden.

But, of course, what better way to end your visit than with tea and cake in our garden haven.
