LGBT History Month

The Importance of Being Earnest: the contribution that LGBT+ people have made to the history of the East Midlands.

Join us, and Alice Ullathorne, as she uncovers the hidden history of the LGBT+ community in the East Midlands as part of the month-long celebration of LGBT History Month. The session will discuss ways to uncover the rich history of the contribution LGBT+ people have made to the East Midlands. From the 17th century author Margaret Duchess of Devonshire to playwright Joe Orton via Early 20th Century Social Activist Edward Carpenter.

Tickets: £4 members/£6 non members
