Join local archaeologist Dave Start to discover what life would have been like in the county in the earliest of times. Learn how today's familiar landscape was created through thousands of years of human activity. Hear the stories of some of the oldest objects uncovered in Lincolnshire such as the 300,000 year old hand axes found at Welton le Wold, or the remarkable Witham Shield, a masterpiece of Iron Age metalworking.
This is a 2 session course running on Wednesday 21st & 28th February and is free to new learners or at a cost of £18, concessions available.

This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service. We aim to attract new learners and courses are open to all aged 19 and over on 31 August 2017.
