Reveal the History of your town or village

6 February 2018 at 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Join archaeologist Ian Marshman to find out how to delve into the history of your town or village. Expanded from our successful 'How to Find the History on Your Doorstep', this course will also cover how to use a range of free and easy to digital resources to find out more about local archaeology and history online. We'll also be looking at finding and using historic maps, place name evidence, and discussing the history of Lincolnshire's towns and villages and features common to many of them.

This course is free to new learners or costs £30, concessions available. It is a 4 session course, all on Tuesday evenings, and starts on Tuesday 6th February 2018, ending on Tuesday 27th February, 6pm-8.30pm.

Tea, coffee & biscuits provided.

Booking is essential. For an enrolment form please email htladmin@heritagelincolnshire.org or telephone 01529 461499.

This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service. We aim to attract new learners and courses are open to all aged 19 and over on 31 August 2017.
