Riverside and Hedgerow

The exploration and practical management of two linear habitat in partnership with the Lincolnshire Countryside Wolds Service and the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project.

Join us for this brand new course we are offering in Louth and learn about the ecology and practical management of these two linear habitats. This two-day course is a mixture of theory and practical.  Combining history and wildlife identification with on-site hands on participation, you'll learn all the basics about how to look after riverbanks and hedgerows.

Learners will leave with a greater understanding of the conservation and historic value of these iconic wildlife corridors and will have applied their new practical skills on a nearby site.

To be eligible for this course you must be available for both sessions; this course starts on 17th February 2019 and continues on 24th February 2019. (10am - 4pm each day)

This lifelong learning course is part of the Grow programme organised by the Lincolnshire County Council Community Learning service. We aim to attract new learners and courses are open to all aged 19 and over on 31 August 2019.
