South Lincolnshire Walking Festival

28 September to 27 October

Celebrating its 5th year, the South Lincolnshire Walking Festival is back! There are a host of walks taking place in Boston Borough, South Holland and North and South Kesteven this year.

The Festival takes place from Saturday the 28th of September to Sunday the 27th of October coordinating a range of varied walks every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Long walks? Short walks? Historical Walks? Nature Walks? Health Walks? Dog Walks? Coffee and Cake!? What more could you ask for? With the walks taking you on some of the most beautiful parts of South Lincolnshire, there's something for everyone at this years South Lincolnshire Walking Festival.

Keep your eye out for some exciting venue's for this years Launch and Finale!

The Brochure's for this years Festival will be released soon and will be available to pick up from your local Tourist Information and Heritage Centres.

This is a newly renovated grade II listed building which has been a huge project of Heritage Lincolnshire’s for the past 5 years! The project is now drawing to a close as the building has been restored to its former glory, now incorporating a Cafe, B & B and Visitor Centre. Could you be the first to explore the Old Kings Head?     This year we haven't sent out brochures free of charge but they have been available in libraries, Tourist Information Centres and some Garden Centres. We have also provided additional information on our website and on our Facebook page, as well as Twitter. We would like to know how you found the information
  • Funding the Festival.

    We rely on income from walk charges and donations in order to cover the costs of running the festival and ensure we can keep it going for the future. We aim to keep prices low to ensure everyone is able to take part.
