The Women of the Norman Conquest
Sharon takes a fresh look at the Norman Conquest through the eyes of the women whose experiences influenced events. Lady Godiva, Emma of Normandy and Gytha of Wessex were three women who played central roles in the events leading up to 1066. This talk helps to celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of Hastings.
