Victorian History and Dickens

Join our tutor Roshni Khunti here in Heckington (10am - 4pm) and immerse yourself in the Victorian era; discover how our modern rites and rituals originated from this rapid age of progress over a century ago. Turning through the pages of history and some of the greatest novels ever written, you will gain an insight into how our current conceptions and conventions around childhood, love and marriage, death and even Christmas were all formed during the Victorian period. You will be guided through an insightful historiographical approach to popular writings by celebrated Victorian authors including: Charles Dickens, Lewis Carroll and the Bronte sisters.
