Operational Manager (Full Time, Permanent Post, Salary : £27,000)

This new role within the charity has been created specifically to develop and operate the new business at the Old King’s Head in Kirton. This exciting new venture is in its early stages and this role is an opportunity to lead on the development of all aspects of the hospitality and catering offer within the property. We are looking for a new member of staff with the drive, initiative and enthusiasm that will match our commitment to delivering a high-quality catering, accommodation and retail offer within a destination venue. You will have exceptional communication skills, be a team player, and have experience of managing people. The successful candidate will have previous experience of operational management within the leisure/hospitality industry, preferably setting up a new business.
Heritage Lincolnshire (HTL) is a local charity with over 28 years of experience in the sector. We work across the historic county of Lincolnshire to save heritage at risk, engage communities with their heritage, and promote best practice in the sector. HTL undertakes consultancy services across the East Midlands and our archaeological unit, APS, works nationally. As a small charity, HTL offers an exciting opportunity for early career professionals who would like to gain a wide range of experience and have a material impact on the organisation they work for.
HTL would support an applicant working towards their IHBC membership, with a wealth of opportunities in the day-to-day duties of this role to develop the skills required to demonstrate competency for full membership.
