Layers of History Senior Project Officer
12 month contract (Salary Range: £24,500 - £26,000 depending on experience)
Our Layers of History Project has now been running for just over two years, encouraging and inspiring nearly 200 volunteers to discover more about the archaeology and history of Lincolnshire.
Using an innovative and creative approach to provide a series of hands-on training courses and experiences, our volunteers have learnt about WW2 military history, monastic ruins and deserted medieval settlements at a variety of study sites across the county. Now in its final year of delivery, could you lead the project to continue to inspire our volunteers to engage with three new study sites, meeting our funders requirements and bringing the project to a successful close?
You’ll need to be familiar with non-intrusive archaeological techniques, skilled in managing staff and volunteers, have good financial management and previous experience leading on the delivery of funded projects. A job description and person specification can be found in the Information Pack. To apply, please download, complete and return the application form by the closing date.
