Crowdfunding is fun!
We are super excited to announce that we have already raised over £800 towards our crowdfunding goal!
The best part of this campaign so far has been meeting and getting to know people in Kirton. The support and care in the local community has shown us how important history and identity is.
We were really impressed by the variety and high quality of produce that local businesses had to offer. We loved new business Sushma and Matt's Bragg's Best gourmet foods.
Sadie Hirst kindly donate her time and allowed us to spend the day enjoying her collections.
The county of Lincolnshire is unique in its history and talents. By shining a spotlight on a local area we were delighted to see the amazing variety on offer. We hope that through this crowdfunding campaign we will continue to see champions of spectacular Lincolnshire.
How can you help!
We will be hosting a number of events in the upcoming weeks that we would love to meet you, keep an eye on our events and social media!
However, most importantly you are needed to help us reach our crowdfunding target.
We have two aims: firstly (obviously) to raise enough funds to save the Old King's Head, and secondly, we need as many people to contribute, no matter how small, to prove that this campaign is relevant to the local community.
A groundswell of support from people who care about Kirton is an essential part of proving that projects to celebrate, fix and maintain community resources are relevant and wanted.
We can't wait to get save the Old King's Head, we hope that your will be a part of this campaign.
