Heritage Lincolnshire is working in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council to build a strong, diverse and vibrant heritage network for the region. Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the first meeting took place in April 2021 and now has a membership of over 60 participants from a wide variety of heritage, arts and other cultural backgrounds. Meetings take place on a bimonthly basis and will continue with Heritage Lincolnshire’s involvement until Spring 2023.
If you would like to join please email email@example.com
Alongside helping to develop and support a wide-ranging agenda for the network, Heritage Lincolnshire is also working with the council on helping to manage Heritage Starter grant for new heritage projects and ideas that need a little more support to develop. Launched in August 2021, the scheme is open to applications until September 2022.
Project ideas are reviewed by a panel (who are from the local area and/or members of the network) once a month, with a deadline for submission the last Wednesday of each month. The first deadline submission is Wednesday 29th September 2021. A Heritage Starter application form can be downloaded from this page alongside a fictitious example of a completed form to help applicants.
Anyone with a project idea about North East Lincolnshire heritage is encouraged to put forward their suggestion; you do not have to be part of the network (although we ask that you work collaboratively with another partner). If you would like to submit an idea and receive some feedback on applying for funding, you can do so by completing our NEL Heritage Project Idea Form below:
