A Battle For Fame and Honour…
King Henry IV will soon be returning to Bolingbroke Castle and there is much to be done in preparation. The knights of the castle must be in their best fighting form if they are to impress the monarch, and so preparations start here!
The Lord of Bolingbroke has arranged a knight’s tournament to mark the occasion, and you are all invited. Join Heritage Lincolnshire and the Friends of Bolingbroke Castle as they team up with the magnificent Plantagenet Society to bring you a weekend to remember.
See the arming of the knights, learn medieval dances and witness amazing medieval displays before watching the climactic skirmishes where armed fighters will vie for your support and to represent Bolingbroke at the King’s Tournament.
