Join us for a weekend away at the fabulous Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa to gain and develop invaluable skills ready for an exciting career in archaeology, heritage or tourism.

Be prepared for a jam-packed experience where you will get stuck in, visiting a variety of unique and historic sites, as well as participating in a variety of workshops at the hotel; all delivered to you from experts in the heritage profession.

Throughout the weekend you will explore a historic garden, a medieval hunting lodge and a World War Two airfield, where you will learn the art of photography, and how to investigate these real historic sites lead by experts in the field. You will be taught the secret behind telling a good story, before you put your new skills to the test in a time limited group challenge!

We guarantee good food, a great venue and sites, excellent company and a truly unique experience!

The cost is subsidised by Layers of History Funders and is £150 per person, all inclusive - 2 nights accomodation (in single sex twin occupancy rooms) and all meals. Tickets are available until 12th June 2019 - so book now. A limited number of bursaries are available, reducing the ticket price to £95. Please contact us for more details.
