Join Charles Parker for a series of online talks on Aviation in Lincolnshire.
The Royal Observer Corps played a significant part in the defence of the United Kingdom in the twentieth century; initially warning of the threat of air attack and subsequently warning of nuclear attack and tracking radioactive fallout. This illustrated presentation looks at the history of the ROC with particular reference to Lincolnshire and Humberside and how its members (mainly part time volunteers) dealt with these threats to the country.
