Winter Herbal Workshop

3 December 2022 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us, and Fenland Natural Health, for this fascinating morning.

In the heart of winter there are very few fresh plants available, so we are reliant on those we have been able to preserve. However, our kitchen cupboard can be a wonderful source of spices, herbs and other natural products with effective medicinal use.

In this workshop we will learn about the spices, herbs, vegetables, oils, vinegars etc that we keep in our fridges and kitchen cupboards that can be used for different ailments over the winter months.

We will start off by discussing the role and benefits of Western Herbal Medicine, our native herbal plants, and best ways to use them safely.

Then after some herbal tastings we will roll up our sleeves and make our own traditional herbal remedies to take home and put to good use, plus many simple recipes.

Our remedies will include those for colds, coughs, sore throats, digestive issues, sore joints, sprains.

Tickets: Members £40 / Non-members £45.

Tickets can be bought from our shop (under Workshops) and if this isn’t the first time you’ve paid more why don’t you become a member and start saving?
