Heritage Lincolnshire is working in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council to build a strong, diverse and vibrant heritage network for the region.  Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the first meeting took place in April 2021 and now has a membership of over 60 participants from a wide variety of heritage, arts and other cultural backgrounds.  Meetings take place on a bimonthly basis.

As a result of the success of the project in 2021, the scheme will now be running again for 2024 led by Heritage Lincolnshire in partnership with NELC and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday 21 March 2-4pm at Central Hall, Grimsby. If you are interested in attending, please provide your name and email address in the form below.

Alongside helping to develop and support a wide-ranging agenda for the network, Heritage Lincolnshire was also working with the council on helping to manage Heritage Starter grants for new heritage projects and ideas that needed a little more support to develop.

The project was launched in August 2021, and the scheme was open to applications until April 2022.

Anyone with a project idea about North East Lincolnshire heritage was encouraged to put forward their suggestions; and they did not have to be part of the network (although we did ask that they work collaboratively with another partner).  Project ideas were then reviewed by a panel (who were from the local area and/or members of the network) once a month.

This project was made possible thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
