|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until 9 September 2023

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2023

In July 1779 John Wesley dedicated this unique Grade I listed chapel built above the stable block in the grounds of the beautiful Raithby Hall by his close friend Robert Carr Brackenbury. A major project last year brought together talented knitters to create a series of tableaux depicting scenes from his life. Enjoy this special display in our county’s oldest Methodist Chapel, with guides to tell you the history of the building and something of the lives of John Wesley and his friend Robert Carr Brackenbury.
