Summer Herbal Workshop

July 9 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us, and Fenland Natural Health, for this fascinating morning.

Summer is a wonderful time to work with plants as so many are now in full bloom. It is the ideal time to gather herbs and preserve them for winter use.

In this workshop we will learn about traditional remedies that can be made from summer flowering herbs. How to forage, use fresh and best methods for drying.

We will start off by discussing the role and benefits of Western Herbal Medicine, our native herbal plants, and best ways to use them safely.

Then after some herbal tastings we will roll up our sleeves and make our own traditional herbal remedies to take home and put to good use.

Our remedies will include blending cooling, refreshing herbal teas, a tonic wine, and remedies for mild sun burn and insect bites and stings.

Tickets: Members £40 / Non-members £45.

Tickets can be bought from our shop (under Workshops) and if this isn’t the first time you’ve paid more why don’t you become a member and start saving?
