Introducing ‘The Lincs Pass’

Heritage Lincolnshire have partnered up with the creator of the East Anglia Pass on an exciting new concept for the Lincolnshire County.

The East Anglia Pass has a huge following down South in places such as Essex and Suffolk, and we hope to continue this throughout Lincolnshire with the aim to increase tourism within the county, and also encouraging external visits from across the UK and abroad.

So what is the Lincolnshire Pass?

The concept of the pass is that it is free for any attraction, venue, cafe, retail, eateries, accommodation etc. to be included onto the pass but they need to have be able to have an offer to give to customers.  This could be  a free cup of tea with a sandwich, 10% off in your shop, 2 for 1 etc. There are already some huge high street brands such as Carluccio’s, Bella Italia, Café Rouge and Go Ape that have already signed up, but we are extremely keen to promote the Lincolnshire independents and get people to come along to see you!

The more businesses close to each other that are on the Pass, the more we can promote your location as we can suggest a full day schedule, and as we grow we aim to show 2-3 days schedules that can include for over-night stays.

There will be a ‘Lincs Pass’ website with the listings on as well as a great app for everyone to download and for anyone who wants something tangible, all customers will get a ‘plastic’ members card to put in their purse or wallet to show you as the retailer.

The app is user friendly, informative, and useful for when it comes to travelling about.  It has the ability to send out push notifications within a certain distance if you are passing by showing you and your offer and also maps to show where there is within so many miles of where you at. The best thing is they pop up as brown tourism signs!

Ourselves as Heritage Lincolnshire have decided to partner with the creators of the East Anglia Pass, to create the first ever county wide pass and encourage people to move about the county, enjoying everything it has to offer.  We have so much here to see and do,  and we do not shout enough about it; so let’s do it together!

At present we do not have anything like this for the county so it is amazing to be able to work on something this exciting and get some amazing places, like yourselves on to it before Summer.
