Lincolnshire Young Archaeologists Club – Volunteers Wanted!

YAC Logo

Lincolnshire Young Archaeologists Club has been running for 2 years providing monthly archaeological fun for children aged 7-16 years through craft, group learning and experimental archaeology. We run 3 terms a year with 3 one-off sessions. Some themes we have explored in the past are Romans in Lincolnshire, Aviation Heritage and for Autumn 2023 we are exploring funerary archaeology!

We are looking for adults to help supervise and lead these sessions alongside Heritage Lincolnshire staff. This is a great opportunity to explore the county’s heritage and archaeology alongside enthusiastic and creative young people and encourage the next generation of archaeology and heritage enthusiasts!

Where: Lincoln – St Peter at Gowts Church Hall and other locations

When: First Saturday of every month, 9.30am-12.30pm.
