Volunteer Tour Guides for The Old King’s Head
We have now got a group of volunteers who have been fully trained by Sarah Cowling of the Institute of Tour Guides and have developed a fantastic walking tour around Kirton and The Old King’s Head.
We are looking for more people to join the team and learn the tour guide ropes from the volunteers that have put this great tour together! You will never complete a tour on your own, and will work as a team to complete these tours.
Penny told us what she thought about the training;
‘The training exceeded all my expectations and by the end I felt confident and excited about being involved. Sarah gave us the tools to be able to deliver facts and make them come alive to those listening.’
